Values-Based Networking for Fundraisers
Jensyn Hallett
January 23, 2020
Networking and lunch at 11:30 a.m. with noon to 1:00 p.m. program.
Jensyn Hallett, CFRE, will lead us in a discussion on leveraging your passions and interests to build out networks for a successful fundraising career. She will provide examples from her own goal-exceeding approach to community building, as well as suggestions for best practice and what not to do, in order to create genuine and long-lasting connections among donors, funders, and partners alike.
Jensyn is director of philanthropy at Heifer International, where she leads the local relations strategy, building partnerships around philanthropy and impact investing. Prior to joining Heifer in 2014, she led a team in seeking funding for and building community benefit programs with Catholic Charities in Northern California.
Locally, Jensyn serves on the Arkansas Association of Fundraising Professionals board, the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas grants committee, and the Little Rock Chamber’s Diversity committee. She is a graduate of Leadership Arkansas, a member of Little Rock Rotary and Create Little Rock, and was recognized as a “Woman to Watch” in 2018. She has also recently been accepted as a fellow with the Integrated Capital Institute in San Francisco, California.
She holds a master’s degree in Community and Economic Development and completed two terms of AmeriCorps service with a focus on women’s empowerment. With a passion for gender equity, diversity, and inclusion, Jensyn believes intentionality around these efforts builds more successful businesses and stronger communities.
Jensyn currently lives in Little Rock, Arkansas, where she is surrounded by love and chaos with her husband, little girl, two dogs, three cats, and three chickens! She enjoys outdoor activities, such as gardening, hiking, and kayaking, as well as live music, hosting events, and making wine.
